Society of Saleswomen Event Empowers Women to Say It With Style

LA-based stylists to share how dressing for success can make all the difference in closing your next deal, landing your next job, or reaching your career goals.
[Los Angeles, California] — Research shows that people form first impressions in a matter of seconds. One study from researchers at Princeton found that people come to conclusions about others’ personality traits, like likability or trustworthiness, in as little as one-tenth of a second.
Rather than seeing this tendency of people to make quick judgments as a hindrance to success, consultant, stylist, and author Laurie Brucker Amerikaner encourages her clients to embrace every first impression as an opportunity.
“What you wear matters. Each morning is an opportunity to get dressed in a way that empowers you and supports how you want to show up,” she said.
Both Laurie Brucker Amerikaner and LA style consultant Mary Komick will address Society of Saleswomen members on Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST.
During this interactive digital event, both speakers will offer practical tips for dressing with intention to help women and men shine, whether they’re taking on investors in the boardroom or a prospect in a sales deal.
